We’re falling for Filorga!
A couple of months ago we introduced you to Filorga Lift Designer Treatment, £65, an anti-ageing serum which is dispensed via a handy roll-on applicator. And it’s safe to say, we’re hooked. Especially M. She’s been rolling away morning, noon and night! (admittedly keen baker, V, has more patience for rolling out pastry, but that’s another story). M not only loves the fact that the serum contains collagen and hyaluronic acid to plump up and firm the skin, but in using the applicator, she really feels like her skin is being tightened and she’s giving her face and neck a good workout.
Since then, we’ve been road-testing some more stars in this brilliant, French, anti-ageing range, which basically mimic the effects of cosmetic surgery and procedures. Without a needle in sight! The brand was developed by a doctor of aesthetic medicine who was pioneering in the field of injectables (before anyone had even heard of botox!) and originally was only available to dermatologists.
We see a lot of anti-ageing ranges at Verymakeupmad Towers, and we can honestly say, Filorga has really impressed us. We’re particularly loving the Oxygen Peel, £20. This magic ‘cocktail’ of acids is designed for daily use and exfoliates, smoothes and rejuvenates the skin, whilst also promoting cell oxygenation (M loves it because the scent reminds her of the Intercontinental Hotel, New York. If you’ve been…you’ll know!!). We’ve mentioned before that V couldn’t be without her Dr Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Daily Peel pads, (£81 for 30), but Oxygen Peel could definitely give them a run for their money. (And speaking of money, it’s considerably cheaper than the pads too!). Use Oxygen Peel nightly, expect a little ‘tingle’ and then wake to a brighter, more refined and younger-looking complexion.
Another nighttime must-have is the Sleep and Lift Treatment, £50 (much cheaper than a face-lift and far less pain and recovery time involved!), a rich night cream which works hard to lift, sculpt, and tighten the skin as you sleep. Goodbye saggy skin and jowls, hello and good morning to a younger-looking you.
And finally, the brilliant and very clever NCTF-Essence, £50. NCTF (New Cellular Treatment Factor) was developed as an injectable solution to prevent, slow down and correct the signs of ageing. This lotion contains this unique ingredient and works to transform dull skin, give a visible boost of hydration and radiance and perfectly preps the face for whichever moisturiser you apply on top. It also ensures that said moisturiser (or serum) works that bit harder and key ingredients are properly absorbed and locked into the skin.
